Innacurate Knock count

While monitoring my car with a logger I was recieving some weird knock issues. At a constant speed (cruising) I had 0 knock. As soon as I accelerate I would immediately see 9 counts. Whether it be 10% throttle or 100% my knock display is 9counts. I dont know if this would be considered phantom or if this is just symptoms of a bad knock sensor. Could my tune be off in a way thar the car would always read 9counts?

I did some searching but havent found an answer yet.

Is your knock sensor plugged in? Do you have a check engine light?

Yes I have a check engine light. I have just rebuilt the motor so there is a possibility I missed a plug, where is the knock sensor located? I will be sure to take a look at it.

Rear of block in the middle under the intake manifol. Wiring plug clipped to intake support bracket.

I've got money on you simply forgetting to plug in the knock sensor.

Let this be a lesson people. If your car is doing something weird and you have a check engine light, don't ask us what the problem is. Use your logger to get the code, and fix the problem. Then, ask us.

I bet if you check the code, it will tell you that the knock sensor is the issue.

When the ECU thinks the KS is broken, or the KS is unplugged, you get approximately 3 degrees of knock retard all the time (knock sum of 9).

I appologize for the stupid question.
It was easier to ask for an answer on here than it was for me to wait till the turbo gets back from FP to troubleshoot the problem.

I finally remembered to check the sensor and it was not there. I had no knock sensor at all. After a trip to Satan and $104 I now have 0 counts of knock and am ready to do some pump gas tuning!
