Long story short: I am building a 2.4L stroker. It will be running an 8.5 or 8.7 CR. Here is a link to my thread.

The goal is 500hp at the wheels.

The problem is that, until I get the engine completely finished and ready to drop in, I'll be running on my current set up (see my profile) - but with a 255 instead of a 190 and with DSMlink. I will be ordering DSMlink very soon and I need help deciding on what size of injectors to run.

I have a few questions:

  1. What is the best type of injectors to run?
  2. What size do you think would be best for my application (streetable 500hp)?
  3. Will I be able to run and easily tune 950s with DSMlink?
  4. If I run 950s, will I need to upgrade the fuel rail or can I get by with the 255lph alone?

Thanks for any help! :)

Any suggestions for a specific brand? I hear FICs and PTEs have a lot of dead time.

I have FIC 1600's and still got 24mpg on the highway......... they are a little rough to get settled out but you'll never have to worry about them again.

Settings - -75 global, 450 deadtime. Messing with the airflow sliders are a must.

I see 45% IDC's at 16psi..... I have yet to turn the wick up.
