Ok so my friend is selling his boosted 420a , srt4 bottom 420a head. He has 550 in it and wants to trade me for my 450s since hes selling it and they are new.

So my question is can I swap them in my car without any problems.

They will physically fit but the 420a uses a high impedance injector. We use a low impedance injector. I'm not sure if removing the resistor pack would make them usable. But for the amount of work to make them work in your car i would pass and just get a injector that's made for our car.

You can put them in, but the car will run extremely rich as the ECU will still think it has 450's. Your car will run like shit.

Long story short without a way to tune (safac, ecmlink) and a wideband, no you can't run them.

EDIT: Didn't see they were coming from a 420. Disregard my post. ImBack is correct.
