Injector Size for 50 trim?

I just bought the t3/t4 kit from agp, along with the agp fmic. I got the 50trim option. Im about to order some injectors for it and I want to know which ones to get. I am choosing between 750cc or 850cc. I know bigger is better but im only tuning with a SAFC II and a Pocketlogger. The question is will I be able to tune the 850 cc sufficiently with the SAFC II and Pocketlogger? Or will the 750cc be enough for a 50trim t3/t4 and all supporting mods?
 
750cc will be enough but you will have a hard time tuning either with safc. The 850 will be harder to tune and idle will suck. Actually, most people Ive seen run a 50trim is using 660cc injectors. I plan to run 720-750cc myself when I install the 50 trim but I have modded eprom so I will just get a new chip with compesation for them. Just my opinion but I would consider some other form of fuel control but you can try it first. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

PS: thinking about it for a minute and I relize something. An injector with a flow rating of 675cc is exactly 50% more flow than the stock 450cc. I would say that is the max you would be able to run with safc because you can only lean up 50% I could be wrong so maybe someone will chime in and give the true facts.

Thats kinda interesting considering I have almost maxed my 550's with the b16g@22 psi. Around 94%ijc. Ive got my 50 trim here and probably wont be able to run over 15 psi With it untill I go bigger. IMHO, your asking for trouble if you run 550's with anything bigger than an evoIII 16g. But its not my car so do as you wish.

On pump gas, you can max out 550's with a 16g easily. Hell, I'm almost maxing them out with a damned 14b.

With anything bigger than a big 16g on pump gas (even an EvoIII 16g) you're going to want 660's or bigger if you want to get the most from the turbo.

Use 750's and get a chip to compensate for them.

Im having the exact same issues with my 550's and Evo 3. I run about 86% on 15psi and in the higher 90's on higher psi. Think most of this is due to the stock FPR being overun. 550's are potent when tuned correctly and can be used with higher flow turbos for instance my friends running 12.4's on a td05 20g with 550's only in the 60% duty cycle range. There is nothing stock about his fuel system though except for the fuel rail (he has -6an line from tank to rail with an AFPR).
 
I got 650cc for now. If I max them out I will just upgrade my tunning equipment and get larger injectors. I will let you guys know how they work when I put everything together.

I dont spend every waking moment on dsmtuners.com like some guys so i don't update the profile. I ran 550s on my 20g and then on my 50trim. My injectors probably are to small, but they get the job done right now. 12.8 at 5200ft above sea level. I've ran 27lbs on race gas with no knock and 23lbs on pump gas. (water injection)
 
I'm running a set of precision 780s on an safc. It works, but I wouldn't recommend it as an safc sucks anyways :thumbdown . I am right around -49 or so on my high throttle settings frm 4500 - 7k and this is on a pte 56 trim.
 
I run 550s on 93 octane with no bad side effects either. My 50 trim holds 18-20 lbs fine.. I'll most likely upgrade to be safe, but so far I have no complaints..

In order to run 12.8 (what trap speed) you don't need a ton of power, which is why your injectors are ok.
 
I idled 750's and 880's just fine on an SAFC with no ECU chips, just hte SAFC. Turn the idle screw up a hair to about 1000, no problems.
 
I ran 11.6 at 121mph with 25psi on 550s with a br500 they are working fine

Can you explain? I don't have an SAFC as of yet, however, I was planning on getting one soon for tuning with my GMAF/T setup. I'm just curious if you think there's a better route for tuning than an SAFC.

IMO not for the price. The safc is the best tuning for the price. But i've heard dsmlink has been tested on the 1g and works quite well. Should be coming soon..
