hey guys
so i cant get my car to start now. my timing is right on, i am getting spark and i have fuel pressure. i do not believe my injectors are firing though causing me to think my injector resistor pack is bad. either that or my cas is bad. im not really sure. how do i test my injector resistor pack, i tried to test it with my multimeter but i do not think i did it right. i no i am testing the resistance by ohms. can someone help me out a little bit. thanks guys

go to autozone and get yourself a noid light set that is what you use to test for pulse just take the plug off the injector and connect it to the light and have someone crank the motor it should light up if there is pulse

I'm sorry, I couldn't follow your writing. How do you know your getting fuel? Have you done anything lately to the car? That would help a lot.

well i know im getting fuel to the rail because i have fuel pressure on my guage and fuel comes out of the rail when i loosen the fitting. What I have done to the car recently is

New battery
new starter
new battery terminals
new fidanza flywheel
new act2600clutch
new bc 272 cams
new timing belt and new auto tensioner

now i am getting spark, my plugs are good and gapped correct, we made sure timing was good by lining all timing marks up and double checking it all after we put the new belt on. i am going to work on the car now i am going to test all the injectors with my multimeter. let me know what you guys think

after reading thru my haynes manual i am now very suspect of the fuel pump. i did a few tests that were in the manual and all signs are pointing to my fuel pump. before i had my problems i was running a bp 50 trim, 650cc, afpr, maft, and other supporting mods but stock fuel pump. i think i may have toasted it do to the setting we had on the maft and working it so hard. does this sound like it could be the problem?

ok guys latest update is my inector pack is fine read 6.2 ohms all the way across, tested the injectors read 2.3 ohms all across so that is good. I tried cranking the car over by hand and all of a sudden today it wouldnt move anymore. So I went ahead and took the valve cover off to explore and to my delight on the intake side I found all the rockers missing from their correct spots and laying all over the head. So at that point I looked and noticed all my valve springs in odd positions making myself fear the worst and boy was I right. I pulled the head and to my horror, every intake valve is bent to hell and put nice gouges in the tops of my pistons. here are some pics

prettty bad I know. So I am taking the head to the machine shop this week to have it checked to make sure its ok and I will go from there depending on what is needed. Now I am going to replace the pistons and rod bearings but probably use stock rods. I am having a hard time picking a set of pistons out because they all are around the same price and all seem pretty good. What do you guys recomend?

I have ross piston's I like themLOL, Damn bro the whole jumping time sucks, but thats what i thought was wrong, i have jump time before, no fun...

yeah i am pretty upset about this I have no clue how it could have jumped timing besides maybe when I put the bc 272s in I may not have had the intake cam in correctly even though my timing marks on the cam gears were perfect?

Pretty sure that your timing marks were not properly aligned to get this results... does the dowel pins were lining up on the camshaft sprockets?? or maybe you forgot to remove the cutter pin from the tensionner after the installation, so the belt have skipped some thoots and causing the valves to be bented.

it wasnt either of those the dowel pins on the cam sprockets were lined up correctly at 3 and 9 oclock and the pin from the auto tensior was removed like it was supposed to be. it is a mystery to me.

Well something didn't line up.. Did you re check the belt after putting it on and also after it running for a little bit. It could have jumped.

thats the problem I never got it running all it owuld do is crank and crank and not fire so eventually I took the valve cover off and saw the rockers lying all over then took the head off and found all the damage : (
