injector problem??

started my 95 tsi for the first time this summer.. and a saw a liquid dripping.. put my hand under the car it was fuel. then looked ontop by the fuel rail and gas was coming out from the second injector on the left.... is this just caused by bad o-rings or seals? or do i have a bigger issue at hand? thank you for any advice.

The seals / o-rings dry up over time and get hard. A possibility that they went bad after a while of not driving the car. If you can see it leaking from there then chances are it's bad. Even if injector was bad it shouldn't leak out of the seals / o-rings either way. Keep us posted.

Was the fuel rail ever removed before? Maybe the injector didn't seat properly. I'd run the lines out of gas and pull of your rail and double check. Check out the o-rings, they are cheap enough to just replace anyhow.

im not sure i bought the car early last summer, drove it all summer ran great.. parked it for the winter. came to start it up and this problem came up. suppose ill pull the injector and inspect. hoping just a seal is shot, can i get the o-rings/seals from autozone.. or do they have to be ordered from a website??

Those work, used them plenty of times. Just make sure they are the appropriate size. Pretty sure one of them just got shot from sitting so long and being old on top of that.
