initial start up and no oil press

I would guess at the oil filter housing gasket. Best thing to do at this point is to 1) call slowboy and rip on them and 2) Take the plastic cover off so you can see what is going on in their. Start the car and see where it is leaking from

thats my check list for tomorrow.............but why do u think the OFH?? Its not leaking by there....its all coming out right under the crank pulley

alright i called slowboy, and they said check the torque on the oil pump sprocket, they said if that isnt torqued right, that would cause a leak, but i doubt that big of a leak could come from that.....

Take a look at This Picture and at the pictures of your engine. Did you install and torque down the one with * that is supposed to be torqued to 20-25 ft.lbs.?

Are you talking about the plug with the o-ring?

yea i belive so, is it that cap that is in the bottom picture of that pic you sent me?? if thats not in there could that leak??

If that's not there it does not leak: it pours.Like I said take the timing cover off and if you don't see it take a picture of it and maybe we can help.

there is a bolt there, but what ur saying is that if that plug cap thing isnt in there, it will leak extrememly quick....like a half a quart in a few minutes like i had??

If you don't have the cap in place you will have massive leak .

So your ready to drop in motor had neither the required bolt of the freakin freeze plug in the balance shaft hole?!
Slow Boy sould give you some money for your troubles if this is true

u havta use rtv or some sealant around the bolt u used to cover up the bs hole or it will leak.and there supposed to be a plug right above the oil pump sprocket to,looks like a star kinda around the edges.l8r.
