Welp this is the only Wednesday I have off. Oh well, no quarter mile time for me this year I guess...

Sorry man! :cry: :cry:

I would like to go another time this year. Would November be good for everyone else? Also, my friend with a MKIII Supra might be able to make it out becuase his setup will, hopefully, be done.

Greddygst- Thanks for the info on Full Function. I'll definetly get stuff done by them.

November is perfect. Lets start setting up the date for the next track.

Eclipse Gridin - yea Full Function is definetly a great shop :thumb: . What are you getting done in your car?

November 2nd or 9th. Either one is good. I have the time to get those days off.

I was saving up for a FMIC setup, fuel setup and bigger turbo (EVOIII 16g or FPGreen haven't decided on how big I wanna go) and was probably gonna get tuned. That stuff is going to be awhile saving so its gonna have to be later in the future.

Ok well here's the deal. I would much prefer to go with someone who has done it before as it is much easier and less stressful for me. I actually work in S.F. and need to pick something up from work before I go anyway, so I could meet up with you at the very least in S.F. if no one else is going. I can drive to you so you don't have to use your gas and we can go from there. Let me know.

If you haven't purchase a turbo, fuel setup or FMIC setup yet. I suggest talking to Sean about your goals with your DSM. Because thats whats great about this shop, they actually want to help you with your goals and their not in it for your money. If anything they want to help you take the right path to save you money rather than buy something and end up hating or regreting it.
Money to us doesn't come easy, right? I know I work hard for my money and I like to spend it on my car the correct way. I lost a lot of money before from rip off shops that only care about taking your money and once you give it to them, they don't put any effort on your DSM. If you are saving money, I highly recommend to call Full Function and talk to Sean and tell him about what your goal is for your car...ex: How fast you want to be, what 1/4 mile timeslip you want to hit, range of horsepower you want...and any other thing you want to add. He did this with me and has help me out with the things that I need and things I don't.
Also Full Function might be making their own custom FMIC setups for DSMs with short route piping. You can find out about that and save money at the sametime. :thumb:

3. GreddyGst - Luis (50/50chance I'll go)

I'm going to be in hayward early morning and hopefully my car will be ready, If not then I'm not gonna go till November with Eclipse Gridin and anybody else that goes.
maybe we could PM each other our cell phone numbers just in case we need to contact each other. If I do go I can call GSTDoit and tell you that we can meet together or if you are still going with T9s1i...I won't be around my computer tomorrow so my cell phone would be the only way to find out what will happen tomorrow. What you guys think?

Well, looks like just a regular old day off for me then.

sorry gstdoit! but looks like im not going to be able to make it ...just a little too hopeful of thinking yesterday... today is my only day off this week and i have a lot of stuff to do... plus i didnt get a chance to tune last night so the car stays sitting... duck hunting opens up this weekend and i have to get everything ready!!!

on another note im ready for another wed run. i have a few friends that are trying to at least get some track times down before more parts come this winter break so if we set up a date ill try to get it off and notify some of my boys as well.....

also about fftec how are their dyno tuning sessions? anyone had them tune their dsmlink? im new with my link and learning as im tuning but if i could spend an hour with someone who knows what they are doing and i can ask specific questions and see how they are making power and what not it would help me with my tuning. ( i know they mostly work with aem as they are certified and all but i heard they tune with the link also...)
do they have a wideband that they could plug into my car ? i have the bung with a sparkplug in my downpipe and its never had a wideband plugged in but im ready to see some real a/f ratio's

thanks and sorry for flakin!!!

You're talkin' about the guys in Union City? They quoted me $150-$200/hour for dyno-tuning. They have a lot of DSMs there so I'm sure they know their ish.

Sucks that it turned out this way, lets set i t up for either Nov 2nd or 9th thats the last two dates of this year. I can go to either dates so it doesn't matter to me, but the rest of you? I just want to go before winter starts.

FFTEC tunes with
* Haltech E6K and E6X
* AEM plug and Play and AEM Race systems ]
* Apexi Super AFC, VAFC and AVC-R
* Greddy E-manage
* EFI systems PMS
* Hondata
* Chrome
* Autotronic
* DSM Link
But i suggest you give em a call and find out when their not busy. Also I know some shops don't like to be bugged around and asked questions when their are tuning, not saying that FFTEC is like that, but because thats mainly the reason why you want to tune + learn at the sametime, so when you call, just ask if they mind you being there asking questions here and there because you want to learn. They do have wideband setup too ($10 extra) and they do know what their doing, Their DSMs in the shops pushing 400/500+ hp on pump gas speaks volumes.

Well if I had to vote, I'd say the 2nd. I can't get any more time off really, but I may be able to leave a few hours early that day if you can meet up around S.F. or pass through.

For sure i'll go GSTDoit. so just get the day off and we can meet up. Worst case scenario if this gets post poned again at least you will have me to go with :) . The 2nd is fine with me but as long as everyone else is okay with it.
