I've just finished getting my bumper cover off so I can mount my new fmic. Do I need to remove the bumper itself and all the ducts that are in there?

u mean the bumper support?
you can if you want to
depending on the fmic you may have to do some trimming

Taking off the bumper and the core support will make this install go a lot more smoothly. Have fun getting the bolts for the bumper off underneath that headlight. It's a real pain, why they put it there I don't know

umm.. hes already got his bumper cover off.

You should remove your bumper and mount the fmic, and then trim the bumper around the pipes so you can put it back on (if you desire)

Also, yes, you have to remove the plastic duct work.

what kind of fmic is it?

I'm not sure what kind it is. My boss picked it up at a show last year and then chose not to use it. Today I've got a friend coming over to help me build some brackets to mount it with and if we have time build the piping.

oh yeah, how do you think they built the first couple prototypes at the factory with out realizing it was damn near impossible to get that bolt under the headlight?

Alright, I just fabricated some brackets to hold the thing in place and now looking ahead to the piping....... Does anyone knew where I can get a flange for my greddy type-s that can be welded to the aluminum piping that I'm using?

Mvpmotorsports.com has quite a few flanges fairly cheap as well, hope this helps
