So here is my problem with my car:
Normal driving the car is smooth, and does not act funny at all with low or no boost. Idling is perfect in 100 degree weather about 1100 to night time temps at 900 or so. But at WOT @ only 10psi on a fully stock car the car feels like its missing. It hesitates than picks back up, than hesitates right up to redline. No matter what gear I am in and only at WOT.

I checked my spark plugs today and checked the gap, some were at .32 and one was all the way to .38 . How does the gap change?? When I put them in they were at .28 because I made them all at .28 and now 2 months later they are like this?? Would that also cause my hesitating problem?? Any help you guys can tell me would be appreciated I am just trying to stop this it's bad when you get on it to pass some slow driver and its doing this.

Thanks

My car is the same as yours = the FWD turbo version.

10PSI is what the stock gauge will put out since that is a ECU estimation reading, not a true reading (mine does the same since I'm stock as well) - why a lot of DSM people put in aftermarket boost gauges attached to actual vacuum lines so they can get a true reading..

Plus, when you're doing WOT most the time, I bet that the plugs electrodes are actually being eroded away why the gap widens, which could explain the hesitation. Plus, are you using NGK BPR6ES plugs, or the colder BPR7ES plugs?

I can blip quick around a slow car without any problems, but I rarely go into WOT which makes me wonder if your system is properly tuned .... and I run just good ol' 87 regular.

I bet you're experiencing fuel cut as well.

Good luck and take it easy to live longer. - DSM

The 10lbs reading is from an aftermarket gauge, and I am Using NGKBPR6eIX which I think are ones that arent' recommended for the car but they did well for awhile . Also fuelt cut at ten psi is not what I am facing. I have faced fuel cut in another DSM it's like hitting a wall. I can get around a slow car too I was just giving an example. And at WOT is where my problem is. Which still doesn't answer my questio;. would that large of a gap cause my problems?

And My spark plugs are this white color or so. White means what again?? Lean fuel??
