I'm Losin it, What Should I Do

Whats Up DSMers, I'm losin my mind. I've been searching for a 97' GSX for about 2 months now and Nothing is in my price range I've seen them for 17,000 dollars what the ____ is that (fill in the blank with your choice of words). I Was thinking about settling for a GST but I know I'll have regrets cuz its not what I want. Is waiting and going crazy worth a GSX.? I'm a lube tech at a mitsubishi dealership so I've heard some stories about these cars. They sound the best for the money. You can open a catalog and buy a fiddle of parts for them. And yeah the dealership can't even find one. Thanx

well i searched for 2 years, bought an AWD talon, drove 800 miles round trip to get it, bring it home and it needs new transfer case and both right wheel hubs. So I think your a bit better off than me! Shiot brotha try 2 YEARS I was goin nutz

www.autotrader.com advanced search......and search these parameters.....AWD, 5 spd, 7500 to 13000.

Gotta be a few at least.

No dealership is going to be able to find one....when they do....and KNOW how bad YOU want it....cause you been bugging the crap out of the sales guys......"when is it getting here.....Is it here yet......What about today???...is it here yet???" They are gonna KEEP the price up and not lower it because either YOUR on drugs or this car is something "SPECIAL".

I highly recommend you talking to your loan officer at YOUR bank. Tell him exactly what year GSX you want....he'll pick up his NADA book....and tell you WHAT you can spend based on your credit.....You are friends with him right?

THEN go home and search those parameters on autotrader. Find the Price/color yada yada...and DO IT already!!!!!!

Good luck and DON'T settle for anything LESS than a G.S.X.
