Well I finally joined the club.. I own a 1g and 2g AWD Talon. I've owned my 2ga TSI AWD for almost 2 years now and has been JSB for the past 4 months during an extensive build (Wiseco HD, Manley I beams, L19's, Kiggly Springs, FP2's til I get some Kelford 280's and so on.) But anyway, just bought my 2nd AWD DSM to DD while my 2g is down. It's a 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD with 101k original miles. It happens to be the best condition 1ga I've ever seen in my life. Paint is perfect, no fade, chips, or anything. Interior is spotless. No rust whatsoever. Engine bay is cleaner than a whistle. It has the simple, yet small mods so it didn't keep me away from it. Stock turbo, full 3" Megan Racing exhaust, Dejon intake pipe (recirculated 1g BOV still,) AEM UEGO Wideband, Defi Boost gauge, Apexi Turbo Timer, Carbon Fiber Hood, and Dejon UICP. This car even still has the stock radio in it :hellyeah: I honestly don't think I could've found a better deal. BUT, on to the bad news, the car has 0 compression across the board, which of course means, timing related or blown head gasket. I have a complete head if worst case comes to it. I plan on replacing head gasket with MLS unit and ARP studs. I also have a friend who will sell me a brand new Wiseco/Eagle .20 and fully built head ready for me when I want it. So I'm deciding what to do. He's a close friend as well and when I go off to college, I'll be selling to him, and I know it'll be in the best hands possible.
I have little plans for the car since it'll be my DD. I only want around 400whp out of it on e85, but of course, my plans always change into something different and I have to add more power! :ohdamn: Here are some of the pictures from the previous owner. I will post more pictures up tomorrow!

Yes, it needs lowered. It will get Eibach Pro-kit in the near future. Also has different wheels on it which you'll get a peek at tomorrow when I get more pictures. Tell me what you think. If you're here to be a smartass, then don't reply. This is a friendly post and I'm just really happy about my purchase so I had to tell you guys!

God thats clean. I have been looking for a clean AWD 1g or 2gb for a while.

What no engine bay pictures.

Not at the moment. Those are from the previous owner. I was gonna take more pictures but my phone died on the way over there from the GPS. Don't ever get an HTC HD2, battery life sucks! LOL But more pictures tomorrow!

Sick find! I'm still looking for one of my own!

On an unrelated note, I love my hd2. Android 2.3+hd2=win.

Sharp looking ride my friend! I like the hood.

Sorry to hear about the zero compression though. At least we're going into the warmer months so you'll have an awesome summer project.

LOL CF hood FTW! Thanks though.

It'll give me a week to fix her back up and be able to drive her. Have a few friends giving me some helping hands and some extra parts if needed for this. Man am I lucky for friends! :hellyeah:

Great find!! Now get rid of the porsche turbo badge and you have yourself a real winner. Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure 0 compression across the board either means you have no pistons in your motor or every valve is bent, im voting for the second oneLOL

That's the first thing I'm doing tomorrow! ROFL:thumb:

But like I said, I'll see what's going on. I'm sure some valves are bent. I do have an extra head in my closest and also a buddy who will hook me up with a fully built motor. I'll probably go that route but time will tell what I'll do.

Just got some new pictures after a half-ass wash. Still need to vacuum interior and wax the car though.
