I'm getting knock at higher rpms. It's sporadic through the higher rpms only at WOT. The car is stock other the a EPROM ECU and the lower honeycomb removed. Do you guys think I need a new knock sensor?

How much knock are you seeing? What boost are you running? What are your AFR's? What type of fuel are you using? Have you checked the knock sensor to see if it is leaking "goo"?

I have a tuned Eprom and my stock boost gauge is now a knock sensor.

I'm not sure how much knock but if I had an extreme amount wouldn't it set off the Check Engine Light?

No, I'm pretty sure it will just retard you timing to the max.

Get yoursel a 1g logger.. there 60-100$ off the market here. That will tell you exactly whats going on.

Using some stock boost gauge that isn't ment for something to measure something is like measuring 50ft of board with random stick in the woods and guessing.

I just talked to my mechanic and he said it was because the honeycomb is gone.

Now it's time to upgrade to a 2gMAF with honeycombs! :)

Missing honeycombs can def. do that to a car. If you upgrade ot a 2g maf on a 1g car you will need something to tune it with, that or upgrade to 550cc injectors and you may be able to get away with it for awhile. I will def. say that a logger is a must though.

The logger will be a great investment or link so you can see whats going on in there, check ebay for loggers cheap around 100 bucks.

Should I just go with 1000CC injectors? I'm going big 16G EVO in the near future.
