im about to lose my mind!!! HELP PLEASE!!!

OK my talon does not have any overheating problems whatsoever and never has and still doesn't but my manifold and turbo glow red when i drive the car for about 10 miles. its not the waste-gate cause im running a wide open waste-gate at all times. so what could be cause them to be getting so damn hot? i also have brand new oem plugs and wires on it and its getting plenty of fuel and oil and coolant are flowing just fine... so what could it be. the new plugs were kinda white after i ran them for about ten miles so what does this mean??? what the hell is going wrong with my car cause im about to junk the bastard if it keeps giving me shit!!! someone please help me before i lose my damn mind!!!!

its hard to give someone advice that tells everyone hes been a mechanic for 4 years but doesn't know what a compression tester is .

Therefore, get a wideband, and a logger, and see whats wrong with your car. WE CANT JUST DIAGNOSE THIS OVER A CONVERSATION, especially when hes not throwing any codes but a crank sensor which doesn't have anything to do with his car running lean..

We can only tell him to check things, and he keeps being persistent that what we say isn't the problem and he knows all about the car..Obviously not.

OK heres an update... i replaced my crank sensor and boy what a job that was. and thanks for the timing diagrams cause that helped a lot. i got it all back together and the manifold is not glowing anymore and the car is running perfect except for when its cold the car wants to shut off on me when i press the gas but once the car warms up to about half its normal running temp it runs perfect and im pushing 12 lbs of boost so i thank everyone for the help. im sorry im stubborn but im still a Nissan man at heart... go S14 KA24DET....

Clean your EGR, or block it off. No one has seemed to talk about it... bet yet is keen to holding on to everything this man says and insulting him. None of you are some elite mechanic so sit down if you have nothing good to offer. Just like 2gmummy says, ALL of you have been in his shoes one point in time... so you really need to cut this guy some slack. Name calling, belittling... I don't understand some of you on hear . Name calling over the net is cowardice. Either help the man or don't post, it's that simple.

OP, try WG block off or cleaning out the build up. The same thing happened to an 88 Conquest TSi that I had and the only extra unmetered air it was recieving was from the recirculation of the EGR.
