Regina,
I recently swapped the motor in my car. Straight 7 bolt to 7 bolt. Shortly after I had the coil pack blow out of the car. Took the coil pack off the old motor and installed it on the new one. Ran fine for about a week then I had the same problem. Now I'm pretty sure I have to replace the coil pack with a new one but I'm not sure which one to replace (2 plugs on each coil, mounted together) The parts are sold individually and are fairly pricey. I checked all the spark plugs and not one arcs against a ground. Looked on here and found that you can test the resistance in the coil packs and got a reading of 13.3k ohms. The thing is i got this reading on both the old coil pack and the one I installed later on. Right now i'm completely stumped as to what I have to do. If anyone can help please do, I will give more information if needed.
