I'm looking for some people who have info on the SBR GT-12. I have had this turbo for a while and finally got to the dyno yesterday. I'm interested in what kind of number people have put down and some 1/4 mile times.
I have all the supporting mods for this turbo. A quick list: stock block, fp2cams, 3" exhaust, 2g maf, 880s, 255,afpr, JMF SMIM, SBR FMIC etc.
I only put down 325 AWHP!! Thats 16g power! I had 2 other people look at my logs and they looked fine. I was expecting 350-400 easily!
Here are the specs I know on the turbo.
The GT 12 turbocharger is rated from garrett as a "500 HP" turbo, but spools extremely fast due to the highly efficient turbine wheel designed by Garrett in racing applications since 2000. All SBR series turbo's are made to mount directly to your existing dsm manifold. This is done by utilizing the SBR cast turbine housing specifically designed for the medium frame GT30 series family of turbochargers.
Compressor wheel facts:
56 "trim" compressor wheel
2.24" inducer
3.00" exducer
55 lb/min compressor wheel
Turbine wheel facts:
2.16" exducer
2.36" major
Thanks for any input!
