It still makes a very noticeable sound, but recirculated you won't hear much. The "woosh" will be very faint, but the way I like to think of it is "silent but deadly"

You'll lose a lot of the sound by recirculating. The gain in performance, drivability and livability more than make up for it.

Absolutely, the sound does get old really quick. And you'll wonder why you ever took it off if you ever get use to driving vented, and decide to recirc again.

I have the 1G BOV it more a less sounds like your car is sneezing between shifts. Not really loud but you know what it is from outside.

im just wonderin if it will be noticeable or not...im more about performance beleive me...but this blitz is rediculous so i didnt know how the stock would compare. thanks guys

A metal replacement intake will make the sound louder. Just get rid of that accordian intake and get a decent air filter. We had a blitz metal filter on one of our cars and it could be herd a little better.

Between my hard UICP, 1G bov, cut dump tube, and K&N filter, I can CLEARLY hear my my car building boost, and "blowing off" between shifts.

When I redid my UIP, I designed it so the BOV would point straight towards the Intake pipe with a much shorter dump tube.

I think the combination of a sraighter flow and shorter routing made for a much louder sound. Definitely not the same Db level as a an aftermarket vented BOV, but definitely sounds nice to me

Venting the stock 1G bov will be VERY noticeable. It will produce a very loud "PSHH!" sound. Even the stock 2G bov, vented produces a very noticeable sound. If you don't believe me, try to vent them and take it for a spin. Although, like Defiant says, it's not at all worth it (to me) to trade off the driveability.

Should not be, because it is metered at a differnet location. I think that was what sold so many of those ram chargers setups was so people could vent.

My 1G is pretty loud. Might be because of the K&N and UICP... no cut dump tube or venting. Sounds like a quieter Type-S, but from what family/friends tell me... it can be heard from pretty far away.

Not driveability but definitely performance as recirculation does a lot to help keep the turbo spooled in between shifts.
