Whats up everyone,
I'm having a small problem. I recently bought a 99 2g which has a fmic and a 16g with all new intercooler piping with j pipe. The imitation greddy bov that was on there was terrible so I decided to get a 1g. The upper intercooler pipe on my car does seem like it will fit the 1g bov so I dont think I need an adapter. However, I don't know where the lines go from the 1G valve. There is the big nipple on the top and then there are the two holes on the underside. I am a newb so go easy on me I know it sounds stupid, but do i just bolt it on and use rtv and a gasket? I have searched and searched and have not found a good picture to show this. Again a picture is worth 1,000 words. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so seeing this thread has me wondering. My supply line to my aftermarket bov is t'd. I'm fairly new to dsm so didn't see any problem with it seeing as I thought it was the proper set up. What do I need to do to fix it. I'll upload a pic of my engine bay so maybe someone can tell where the lines are going and how to correct it. Any help would be appreciated.[DOUBLEPOST=1413120960][/DOUBLEPOST]

You tell us where that line is going. As far as I know, there's nothing that needs a vacuum source near the fusebox area. Run a straight hose from the BOV to the intake manifold. Your setup is not ideal but it's not going to kill anything instantly either.

It's storming here pretty bad but as soon as it lets up I'll check. I've noticed the turbo doesn't seem like my boosted hondas , maybe that's why. Also I got a 1g bov and put it on and it did fine until the boost started building then it cut out so I ended up having to put that crappy aftermarket one back on. Idk what the deal is with that.[DOUBLEPOST=1413122842][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok , just looked. The line t's and goes to my bov and the other line goes to my boost controller.

My controller is manual and has two ports on it. The one from the t is going to it and the other one goes from the controller to the turbo.

I did notice there's a small cap on an outlet on my ic piping. I'll take it off and run the hoses and ditch the t. I've read a lot on the adjusting of the bov. If I've read right you're supposed to go all the way in and back out a half turn. Is that right?

Ok , I switched the hoses around but the only port on my ic piping is right before the intake filter. Does that matter?

I have one going to the wastegate but my boost controller has 2 ports on it. One's going to the wastegate and the other was coming from that t

[DOUBLEPOST=1413148541][/DOUBLEPOST]That's how I have it now. I do have one from the boost controller to the wastegate but where I have that the one that was t'd is the only place on the piping I have to put anything.
