Idling Like Sh*t?

last night one of my intercooler pipes came off and then i put it back on this morning. now the car is idoling like sh*t... it will sit at a little less than 1 rpm for a couple minutes then go right back up to 1 1/2 or a little more... ?? why? i think its a vacuum line but im not sure and idk where to start or how to find it

have you done a boost leak test to make sure you got it sealed when you put it back on

Agreed. You usually cannot just simply replace the blown hose and think it's the same; you need to do a boost leak test to make sure the reconnection is secure.

ya unfortunately i dont have a compressor todo that test... but when a intercooler pipe comes off it usually under idles if that makes sense but when a vacuum line comes off it seems like it will over idle (1.2k-1.5k rpms) that is atleast what i have found in the past

You don't need a compressor. Make something ghetto with a pump to put air into bike tires.....

im pretty damn sure that its not the intercooler now but from here idk where to even start looking....
