salmon arm,
For about a month now, I have been having some horrible idling issues..... It seems to have started after I put a big set of cams in and right away put the stock ones back in!!! When i start my car, it will idle @ 800'ish and after I drive a bit, the idle will work it's way up to 2200 rpm and hold there with no misfiring, fluxuating or nothing(just a smooth high rpm idle).... So far, i have blocked off the FIAV, readjusted the TPS cable bracket back to the proper spot, adjusted the IPScrew, and unplugged the ISC I think it was, it is on the bottom of the TB and on the firewall side!!!! I think it is the thing were the TPS cable connects to the hinge with the Spring looking thing(don't know what it is called but it is what you can manually control the throttle with if you are under the hood)..... I push on it too let the idle down, which does lower the idle by 500 rpm at least but when i let go of it, the rpm will pick back up,!!!!!! Please let me know how I can like lube it or something or increase the spring tension so it pulls the cable F&%#ing hard!!!!! Any other sugestions would be great because I just don't know what else that I could do!!!! thanks
