idle problem and a couple of other problems

Probably leaning towards the ECU. Had the exact same thing happen to my car. Eventually it got so bad the car wouldn't idle at all and needed constant throttle or light tapping of it. I would pull it and check out the caps.

Why don't you just get a used IAC and a used TPS that work off of 2gnt or something. Replace them both because they are really cheap used. If that does not fix the problem then look into the ECU. I don't doubt crazys' diagnosis i just dont see why you shouldnt try a couple 5 dollar parts first.

I know the feeling, I am dealing with all of those problems right now! AHHH! its agravating

Not the same for us 420a guys. Our ECU is kept inside the engine bay, there's a gel like substance in the ECU between the cover and circut board. We can't pull it out and just inspect it like you 4g guys.
