OK. Here is my problem, I have done alot of searching and no luck on finding anything on this. Please help if you may know. My car is a 95 GSX if that helps.
When starting the car, it idles normal.(750-800) And when driving it seems fine but when it gets warm the car will start to creep up in idle. Here is the very strange part, if i turn the car off(to run into the store or put gas in it) and turn it back on, the RPM's just anywhere from 1500-3000.:ohdamn: This is getting annoying LOL. I have tried to unplug the IAC and changed the TPS. Tried adjusting the throttle body and still coming up short.:banghead:
So if there is anyone who has had this same issue please help!! Thanks!!

o.o Mmm... Check the Thermo valve. In my 1G N/T it used to do that because one of the nipples were broken off.

Also, check the ring around your BISS screw, if it's leaking then it will do that.

I will look at the ring tonight.

i have the oppsite problem in my 6bolt 98 gst. it will start at 1500rpm and then once it warms up it will idle at 750 and some times it will even stall when i come to stop. its a new problem so i haven really checked it out. but deffinetly check the BISS sensor O ring.

Yup. I had that exact issue, to me honest. xD Does it surge when you come to a red-light/Stop sign?

Yup. Gonna be that BISS, or your MAF....worst case scenario anyway.

Just pop out that screw, put a new o-ring on, and you're good.

I am thinking it is a leak somewhere now, the question will be where at haha. I will be under the hood this weekend until i find it. Thanks everyone for the help! Let me know if anyone has any other ideas!

i remember a long time ago before i rebuilt my engine i was stalling also when i came to stop , i after checking: BISS, vac lines, maf, ic pipes, i figured out my BOV recirc line was cracked and pretty much venting. after i replaced that i was fine .

And no for the twist!! On my way home from work tonight, i was sitting in traffic and the idle started to creep up again and was at 2k. I was getting irritated so, for whatever reason, i decided to turn on my AC and the RPM's dropped to 1k and stayed there. I tested this out a couple times and same everytime. Now I am really puzzled!

Yeah it is all very weird to me. I will be lookning for leaks today and hopefully i can find something LOL.

you know i REALLY wish i could help all of you out...my car was doing the same thing a/c + lights + turning steering wheel would almost kill it. and i would drive and when i came to slow down it would be at a diffrent rpm every time.. then english racing rebuilt my car and now its fine... maybe it was because i changed the IAC right before i gave them the keys??
