Alright so here is my problem. I seriously need to get this car fixed as now its my only running(ish) car.

It started last week where the idle wouldn't settle on a spot and while driving would occasionally stall. my A/F gauge has also started going all over the place under any throttle and while sitting at idle it will just climb until its off the gauge.

The only code I am getting is for the front o2 sensor. When I bought the car I had noticed that they used the front housing port for the A/F gauge instead of getting a bung welded in and its throwing a CEL for the front o2. so if anyone could post pics of where the factory wiring is supposed to connect that would be awesome so I can clear that out. my difficulty here is that its not a stock turbo, I believe my friend said it was a large 16G and while it was running we set it to 14 PSI boost.

Beyond that I have tested my fuel relay and that's working fine and Ive tested my VAF wiring. at terminal 4 i'm getting good battery voltage, terminal 3 i'm getting about 4.75V but when I try to just resistance on terminal 3 my meter just starts fading out(IE the screen starts to dim out) all of this came from the Chilton manual.

My last effort once it warms up a bit outside is to switch out the 95 ecu in it for the black box ecu and see if that changes anything.

Im aware it could be my o2 and I need to get that fixed but cant find the stog wiring for it.

Apologies for the long post! And thank you in advance!

Once I get things put back together I will try to post a video of my gauges.

If you have no O2 sensor, or simulator, then that is most likely your problem.

I don't understand how this is so hard for people to understand. When your car throws a code and you have a problem, try fixing that problem. Your car is trying to help you.

Anyway, rant aside, put the stock O2 sensor back in, and plug it into the stock plug. Whoever installed the wideband shouldn't have done anything to the stock plug, as that plug is just no longer used.

Another way, depending on which wideband you have, is to use it to simulate an o2 sensor signal to the ecu. This would of course require you to rewire the signal wire from the ecu and plug it into one coming off the wideband and set the wideband to "simulator mode."

See if either of those fixes your problem. Also, don't boost very hard until the problem is fixed.

Also, try to talk to whomever you bought the car from and see what they did to accommodate this problem. It could have a custom tune on it that could be causing the problem as well.

It has an AEM wideband in it now and as soon is I get it running again I have a set of Prosport wideband gauges that will be installed.

I apologize you felt the need to rant but Im not a total rookie I know it needs fixed. The biggest issue im running into to fix it is that I cannot find the factory harness plug to plug the o2 sensor back into. Thats why I asked for pics.

Got ya.

Yeah sorry about the rant, I literally answered a very similar question earlier in the day. It wasn't directed at you.

Anyway these should help:

Wait, so you have an AEM O2 sensor but not the whole kit? The AEM wideband usually comes with a gauge that plugs into it the O2 sensor and controls everything. It has the ability to simulate an factory/stock narrow band signal to the ECU.

No I have the whole gauge setup but I've had bad experience in the past with aem so I'm swapping out and I did find that o2 connecter so I'm gonna go get a new one tonight. And hopefully that will work and a boost leak test tomorrow. I'll keep ya updated LOL

If you have the Gauge/Controlling system, you can use it as a narrowband simulator.

Just connect the White wire coming from the AEM to the ECU O2 input wire (Pin4 on a 1g) and put the AEM into P4 at the back of the gauge.

Then you don't have to worry about the harness.

When I re-wired mine, I used quick disconnects to connect the wires so I could put it back to stock if I ever sold the car. I highly recommend to anyone else to do the same.

Good luck.
