2G Idle Air Control valve causing surging?

ok so i just replaced my idle air control valve cause it was causeing my engine to rev up my engine then go back down and then do it again but after replacing it the engine will still do it so what else could be causing it to do that please help.

First thing i would do is take your throttle body off and clean it with break clean and put new throttle body gaskets on it. My eclipse did that when one of my seals went out in my turbo and got oil into my throttle body. After i cleaned it and put new gaskets on it, it fixed the idle serge.

could be mass air flow sensor or you could have a boost leak

That's a nice link gofer. I was going to suggest the ground wire be checked as well that connects to that little bump stop.
