Looks like it'll only fit the nt. I see no hump.

unless the company that was going outta business changed the hood ....Because of the timing belt.
Aren't all 4g63 & 4g63t the same timing belt height? I have never seen a flat stock hood any Eclipse or Talon.
What ^^^ said. There is a guy on here with a red Talon that has this hood on a turbo car, user name 'Twisted Talon'. Here is his car -For it to fit on a turbo model the hood has to have a piece of the subframe cut out where the timing belt cover is, otherwise it hits the timing belt cover and will not close.

I'm an OEM kind of guy also but its like one of the only hoods I can find that doesn't look too off the wall and would serve well for cooling.Sucks for you guys. I wouldn't buy that hood anyway. I'm an OEM guy. Well, for the hood atleast.
I kind of wanted that hood at one point for cooling purposes but I'm just going for the RRE vent.
So any 95-99 2ga or 2gb would not have a 4g63 in it unless it's turbo? Or could you still get a N/T 4g63 2g?
Sorry for getting this topic off track it just made me wonder about stuff.
I also like a stock hood on a DSM. I think the designers at DSM did a great job.
Correct. Any 2G will only have a 4G63 if it is turbo. All non-turbo 2G COUPES have a Chrysler 420a DOHC 2.0l motor. All non-turbo Convertible Spyders have the 4G64 2.4l SOHC. Only 1G's featured a non-turbo 4G63 as a factory option.
Funny how the hood bump came out of necessity in the 1G when the designers realized the the 4G63 timing belt and cover was rising above the plane of the hood and fenders.
That is why the 90-91 1.8l motor doesn't have a hood bump because it doesn't have the same problem.
Same reason I'm considering it.
The one pictured is the CF one, which is a little more. You can get it from Carbontrix. I'm going to paint match mine though so I figured the fiberglass would be fine.
