Short story long. Left in a car came back in a tow truck. Me and my buddy went to a car meet yesterday, everything went fine, i met some DSM people there, they helped me with idle tune and all that stuff. Then we decide to go for a 30 mile trip. On the way there many cars raced between each other. I did too, mostly from a roll (on GSX, LOL, what an idiot :) anyways, i did smoke some Civics and Subies. I was approaching a 90* ramp at about 60mph, and right off the ramp i heard very loud, metal to metal, harsh, grinding noise. It was coming out from my rear right side, somewhere behind the wheel. I quickly stopped, and didnt move until one of my friends pulled over on a side of the road. (it was funny cause he called it a DSM night cause he was sure ima gonna get pulled :) Anyways, it was dark and we couldn't tell exactly what was going on, but they suggested not to drive. Rear tires spin, so they are not locked, except they are making this loud grinding noise. I also kinda tried to push a little gas and see how this grind occurs. I couldn't really tell, but it seems like the car is moving for couple of inches and then its like a rock underneath the tire, and as soon as i run over it, the grind happens.

Also noticed one thing, once i pulled over, i pulled my Ebrake and it was unusually hard to pull, but then i had to pull my car to the right side of the road, and pulled my Ebrake again and it was going really smooth.

Guys what would u suggest to look at first ? Caliper ? Axle? Diff ?

I would check the axle hub on that side to see if it ripped apart or it could also sound like a seized caliper. Remove the wheel and tell us what you see. GL

I found out what was going on :). So i popped my rotor out today and DAMN, i had 100500 pieces all over the floor, basically Ebreak assembly fell apart and damaged shoes :)... I guess not its going to be a BTCH to put it together :). Anybody have an exploded view on Ebreak assembly ?
