Ok guys, I was walking out of my bank today and noticed some greenish goo (grease) on my right front wheel. Looks like it was sprayed all around my wheel well.

Does anyone know what happened?

What should my next step be?

I'm not driving it till I find out whats wrong.

Sucks, this is the first time a DSM that I've owned has let me down.

It's probably the half shaft boot, get wheel hop lately? I've read that it's just better to change the axles than to change the boot, since the axles are like $60 EACH from autozone with a lifetime warranty.

Stick your head under your car and look at the boot and feel around it to see if that's where the grease it coming from.

Looked at the boot and saw that it could be ripped.

Is what habitatguy187 said about replacing both axle's correct?
Will I be able to replace them on my own or will I need a hand?

I stuck my hand behind the wheel and grabbed the boot, it made a little pop noise and some grease came out, kinda like it was pressurized a tiny bit.

I remember now that, last nite I was coming home from work and at around 4500-5000 rpms, in third I heard a pop, felt just like fuel cut and my car stalled out when I pressed the clutch in. It started right up and I took it easy on the way home. Could this have been what made my car do that?

I went out and got some better pictures..
