okay so when my cars warmed up the idle while drop down to 400-500 then it will go up to 650-750 for a min which is when you can actually hear the cams then it drops back down and the sound of the cams go away i thought i needed to adjust my bov (greddy type s) and found out that the threads are all f**ked up but when i took the screw off while the car was running the idle was near perfect...? i put my finger over the hole went back to a hesitation took it off idled normal agian... so i put the stock bov on and it didnt help anyone know what this can be?!?!

Are you on stock tune, link, etc? Just an Idea (I may be wrong) but if it was leaking before, and the a/f was calibrated with the leak, then fixing the leak would change your a/f and cause idle problems. Like I said, just a thought.

the cars never been tuned i have 550 injectors and hks 272/264 cams if this is the case is there anyway to fix it or do i have to get it tuned

if you have bigger cams, you really should have a tune to go along with them. Otherwise, the added duration and overlap can cause problems.

Holy shit its Brian o Connor, lemme get an autograph.

OP, I think you have something called idle surge, look into that using the search feature.

Could also be some other small things. Boost leak, vacuum leak, ect. Might be a misfire dropping your RPMs then your ECU corrects it and brings it back up to compensate.
