IC Piping need info

I need to upgrade my IC and IC Pipes. The reasons are:

The pipes,that i have now are 2inch diameter,(i think some cheap ebay pipes) came ,with the car ,that i bough last summer.
The intercooler core has a huge bent on a bottom(getting on a tow truck) and the Intercooler came with long route piping

I got a 1g ,with complete intercooler setup. (Precision). The pipes are 2.5 inch diameter, The IC cores are the same between both cars. Would the Short route piping from 1g fit the 2g?? I got a 6bolt swap ,with 1g intake manifold and 1g TB. Any suggestions?! ### im afraid tear everything apart,and at the end ,the whole thing will not fit.

I don't think it will. they have different clearances as far as the body is concerned.

Yeaah for a long route upper ic pipes between 1g and 2g are different. But I was looking today,and short route upper ic pipe goes down from TB to the IC without touching anything (1g) and i think i would have enough room to go the same way (down from TB to IC) on a 2g.... Or im Missing something??!!
