Definately could be the headgasket with those symptoms. although the compression numbers may fool you, because the HG leak is only minor.

Terry's correct on this one. Classic signs of head gasket. Comp #'s can fool you.

ok well im currently taking my head apart to do my HG, one quick question. since im ripping it all apart it would be easy for me to do my cam gears and was woundering if someone could tell me what people are setting there cam gears at with something like my setup? give me someting to start off with thank you

The cam gears would be easier if they were on the cams AFTER the install. You've honestly asked us that question almost half dozen times now and we tell you the same thing. Every car is different based on their set-up, power, and parts. You need to zero them out and adjust them using a dyno to say the least. Unless you can notice 8-10HP on 20psi after you tune them.

I still have yet to see you reply to another thread or post to help others in the community. We take time to help you on this site, so you should return the favor and help others as well. Sorry if that came out the wrong way, but for more then a year 95% of your posts are replys or threads about your own car and your own problems. We want to help, but you have gotta return the favor....

How can you build a 420a monster with a fully re-built motor, body kit, and turbo kit pushing 20ps but theres NOTHING for you to contribute to the newbs asking about kits, prices, etc? I have done all the above myself and only share what I've learned in the process.

No shit sherlock. I'm sure someone with a boosted 420a pushing 20psi wouldn't want input from people who have been down the same road, right? But like you said, who really cares, right?

well so i fixed my hg all with couple other things and u know what i found out, ive been detonating my #2 and 3 pistons are getting shaved and cut down. i had it retarted at 4 degree think ill take to it like 8 just to be safe. thing i dont understand is never herd any knocking or anything and ive herd some guys dont even touch their ignition timing till like around 20psi?
