I NEED HELP! i just uninstall my safc and now bad timing?

I just uninstall my safc and now my timing is off and at times it'll die. what should I do? I put back the air fuel to 0% but I did nothing to the karma settings. HELP ME PLEASE.
 
What are your modifications? You have none listed. Is the only modification you have done, and AFC? Do you have upgraded fuel injectors, fuel pump, AFPR, etc in place??


Are you running the stock blow off valve? Are you running the recirculation tube from the BOV to the intake pipe?


How do you know that you are pulling timing??? The AFC doesn't affect timing, it adjusts the level of air that the Mass Air Flow sensor reads, telling to add more or less fuel based on the increase or decrease of air flow through it.

What were your previous settings (all of them) on your AFC, and how did the car run then?

Did you datalog the car to see what kind of timing you were running??

Are you sure that the Mass Air Flow sensor is plugged in? Did you reconnect all the wires in the harness correctly?

Have you checked intercooler pipe connections?



These are some of the questions that you NEED to answer, before we are even able to help you.
 
i put the car back to bone stock and the MAS wire i cut is reconnected, or should i say my idle is off. all intercooler piping is connected, and i tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery
 
well, what is your idle currently at?

If it is an idle issue, have you tried adjusting your Base Idle Set Screw clockwise to raise your idle?


Have you checked your plugs? Are you running rich or lean?
 
well my idle was at around 600 but i adjusted my biss, seems like it helped it but my idle just is not steady, sounds like it wants to die out.

Phil97GST -You have to understand that there are several things that can affect what is happening. More than likely, your problem will still be associated with the MAF sensor. Either your BOV recirculation tube is not attached; your MAF is not hooked up; or you have damaged or improperly reconnected the wires by the ECU which were originally used for the S-AFC.


Please list ALL modifications that were done to the car, then which ones you took off, then at what point did you find out the vehicle started running poor, then what did you do to try to fix the problem.
