OK i am going to make this short, i recently blew my turbo seals (t-25), and i really couldn't due much but drive really slow, i didn't have internet or phone due to the hurricane, and it was heavy time when i really needed my car so i couldn't afford to put it on stands, so i drove it, and normally i realized that the car would get slower and slower and then it wouldn't even boost anymore, it started burning oil on shifts and then after a day or two i was smoking allot under vac, then right when the worst of the hurricane was over, the car started blowing smoke at all times, i was like "thats not right", this mean oil was getting into my throttle body, which mean my intercooler must have had oil in it. Shook my intercooler and i could hear the puddle, took my upic of and it had oil in it. Now finally it wasn't to the point that the car wouldn't start i could start it and it would smoke allot then calm down i guess the oil would burn off, but oil getting into my motor did it harm it? And what should i do now? I didnt mean to neglect the car, but i didnt think it would leak that bad and i would never let it build boost, i drove it really slow, but i needed my car alot on that week, i have a mother who was sick and needed to take her to the medical center dialy and with no power it was a must. So i finally got power back and finally had a chance to work on my car, I have the turbo off, and i am waiting for a b16g to come in, but i dont want to put evrything back together, and start it with oil in the motor, is it too late for my motor? or not really?

if your seals blew on the turbo the motor should be fine as long as you kept putting oil in and not letting it get to low to where it would cause problems so you should be fine. the seal on my t25 are gone now but i don't have the money to buy the ss oil line to put in my new turbo so i have to keep adding oil until i do. Hopefully it doesn't completely stop working.

THANK YOU FOR FINALLY ANSWERING!!!!!!!!! i noticed the car was getting slower everytime i drove it, it started happening about 1 1/2 month ago, then about 2 weeks ago, my car started smoking a little bit in between shifts, then 6 days ago it got bad, and in 5 days the car went from bad seals to completly broken? WTF is this a regular 1 month progress on a bad turbo? plus is this normal? oil sludge around the exaust side of cylinder 1?

I don't know, but were not suprised! LOL

How many miles on the engine?

Have you ever cleaned it to get a better idea where it's coming from?

Is this recent, or has it always been like that?

How much oil are you having to add?

The turbo is close by, plus if the seals are bad, it's throwin lots of oil into your combustion chamber, and intake. It's gotta come out somewhere.

Any coming down from the valve cover?

well the car has 74,000 and no there was never any oil there. I have put at least 2 quarts over a 2 week period, yea i know the turbo seals are bad, but the oil being there does this mean the my motor is bad? like maybe some seals in the motor?

I just had all the seals replaced on my car when i was going to do a 1g head swap. That didn't work out though. Mine has 160k on it and this is the stock turbo so it was about that time for it to go. I was driving around last night and smoke pooring out of the exhaust filled up the street so.

Could be exhaust manifold leak, but i would think the oil would be burned before it gets there...the turbo needs replced so after that has been done, see if it continues or not.

Possibly a leak from your oil feed line.

why the oil biuld up around that, manifold exert
the turbo is filled with oil and has oil constantly running through it....the seals blew...so the oil came out...not that crazy. good luck with your turbo swap i hope everything goes smooth.
