I killed my car. Need help

I dont know what happened except I downshifted to second there was a hard jerk the car died and instead of sounding like its turning over the starter now sounds like its whining. when I tried to start it. Luckily I was a few blocks from my house. pushing it still sucked.

I watched the timing belt and cam gears,no tears, Timing belt is fine as I cranked the car. I dont know what the heck is going on. The starter cranks. My rpm needle moves a littble bit. but it doesnt sound like it normally does when cranking the motor. just a long constant whine.

So my timing belt is fine I think.
car doesnt start at all.
no fluids are leaking

I was only going 25mph...

Any ideas on how to fix it or what happened?

drain the oil and check for metal flakes. Are you absolutely positive that the timing is OK?

sound like you have no compression. since you were only going 25, i doubt these could be the problems, but usually that is the headgasket, bent valves, or rings. do you think it could have been any of those. i know when i bent a few valves on my isuzu rodeo when i tried craking it it whined really loud

Yep im thinking a blown headgastket as well. I hope that is all it is.

Car's still run with blown head gaskets. hell I was able to start and drive one of my cars when i accidently forgot to put the spark plug wires back on #1 & #2...

Im betting your timing belt skipped a few teeth. Check all your timing marks.
