As the title states I have searched many times on here and on other sites and still don't know the correct offset for some slipstreams.

My number one choice is 16x8s with some 245/45/16s...
But the 16" rotas Ive seen only come in 48 offset... Seems to me they would hit the suspension with that offset

Or I could opt to run a 17x8 with +35 w/245/45/17s, but they may stick out too far...

I plan on lowering it between 1.50~1.75 front and rear if that matters.
The car is a weekend warrior so traction in a straight line is what I'm looking for.
I will roll the fenders if need be, but don't want the tires and rims sticking out too far.

Thanks for all the help!

Yea ive looked at vfaq and I understand offsets. Thats one of the places that makes me think the 48 would rub.

I'm just really lost when it comes to rims and tires LOL :(

A +48 offset will make the rim sit inside the wheel well farther then a +38. You're more likely to rub on the knuckle then the inside of the fender.

Look at any Evo 8 rims on 2g's. They are 17x8 +38 and most people run 235/45/17 with a few running 245/40/17. They fit perfect, if you ask me.
