After waiting for seemingly forever, I have been able to locate a set of rota slipstreams in royal gun metallic in 16x7, 5x114.3, but a +45mm offset. My car is not yet lowered but my suspension setup will eventually consist of agxs and h&r's. I run 225/50/16 yokohama avs es100's and I want to know before I go and order anything if these rims will work on my 1g awd. Please let me know, any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you ever purchase these wheels? I want a set of 16x7 Bronze Slipstreams with a 40mm offset. But all the places I ask say that Rota needs at least 5 sets before they will make them. They have them in stock right now in 45mm offset, but is that too close? I'd prefer the wider stance for drag racing, but might not notice any difference at all.

I will also be running 225/50/16 wheels.

The 45mm offset will stick out quite a bit. I'm running the 16x7 Slipstreams with 225 tires on em, with the +40mm offset, and they just barely stick out of the fenderwell. +45mm offset might get you into the lowrider/mexican look.

incorrect, the 40 will stick out more then the 45...the 45 will pull it closer to the suspension while the 40 will be out. Actaully 38-40mm is perfect and even 35 if you want wide tire with a wider stance. Me, Id like to get 40 mm offset still.
