I DON'T want it gone at all! But there's absolutely no way it'll make the drive to Pa and I can't pull together a grand to have it shipped. I'd LOVE to sell it to someone here on Tuners! Then at least I'd be able to know she's with someone who'll love her as much as I do. And I can check in on her from time to time. Askin' 6k and I have receipts of all the most recent work (rebuild...the most important part). But it's in the classifieds section...I don't want my thread locked for talkin' about selling her. LET ME KNOW MODS IF THAT'S NOT COOL!

Don't give up on the Dizzum yet. Mine is an even worse POS than yours, and I'm hurting...ACHING for money, but I still haven't sold her yet. Just find somewhere to store it, and take out a loan. A small 3k shouldn't be too crazy hard on interest. Mine has been through two turbos, three or FOUR engines, COUNTLESS Ecu's, two TCU's, more random little shit than I can even COUNT, interior rattles, been hit in the ass, countless brake/suspension troubles, and much...much...much more.


There's a good saying on another forum I'm on "Owning a DSM is like dating a stripper. There's going to be heartache, and times when you think of leaving it all behind. But, in the end, you know its totally worth it when she acts right." =P

Ex (and the DSM ) screwed up my credit. Banks won't touch me with a 10 ft pole.

Because I can't tune worth crap (no lectures please...no tutorial on this planet can help me) and the thing is a project. Not worthy of a 1,500 mile drive. It WILL blow the eff up...I know it. And then I'm stranded in BFE, alone, with 10 tons of crap, no tools, and a very broken Dizzum.

As long as your LTFTs are tuned half decent it will make it garunteed, if it craps out within the first 200 miles then it wasn't meant to be, if it makes it even 50 miles it will cruise all the way there. DONT GIVE UP ON IT. It obviously has a very very good owner that just is short on cash, I dont want to see another DSM in a ricer's hands.

You're kidding right? I'm not "selling" the car...I'm "taking applications for ownership."

I've turned down 3 buyers already, one was 16...'nuff said, another was some girl who said, and I quote, "I dnt reely care about all that stuff u did 2 it. its a 2000 with ovr 100k. ill give u 2000 for it. wrk with me on dis." My reply: "The short block cost more than that. $2,000 for 15k in parts, 2 years in sweat, and countless nights in the garage till 3 am is just plain insulting." And the third was some kid who didn't even have his license yet.

I'll part the thing out before I ever let a bodykit, streetglow, or shopping cart wings touch it.

I'm moving here in a couple of months to Alabama (back down south thank god) but anyways I really dont want to trailer my car since the fiance is driving the honda I am trying to figure out a way to fasten my car inside of a Uhaul and make some ramps so My car doesn't have to be on a trailer.

Moving sucks, But no way around it.

You need to have Jusumx or however he spells his screen name walk you through tuning so it can make it or better yet maybe I should buy a turbo from him so he can "help" you ship your car...

How about We get a case of beer I drive my 2g down to Texas on 12mpg and we fix her up. You strap your furniture and tools to the roof and drive to PA. Yeehaw mothertrucker!!

well so sorry you are having a hard time with you ride. but don't give up just think that the glass is half full. is the no other dsmer close to you that can help with your problems ? if a trany you need a know of a couple for sell cheep with low miles.

Is anybody else having issues with MPG? I think im in the ballpark of 13mpg shes being a bi***!
