I just bought an Eprom ECU, but cant seem to find what car it came out of. I'm limited to the eprom chips number because the ECU is being shipped at the moment. It should be out of a 90... I HOPE!!!

Any one recognize this chip number?

E902

There is 6182 across the plastic connector, if that helps.

Thanks, Sean.

There is JE33IA964B across the board itself near the cap's, if that helps.

Thanks, Sean.

Check this out. http://simon.chi.il.us/ECU/ECUID.html :sneaky:

The four digits on the connector are the last four in the E2T number.
The closest to that in my list is on of the 90 Galant GSX ECUs. I happen to have a MD153303 on my ECU pile and the circuit board is a JE33IA964B but it doesn't have the knock board like your. My best guess is that it's a MD153695 from a JDM 90 auto Galant VR4 and it's not clear if will work with the USDM software or DSMLink.

Thank you!!!

Do you think DSMLink will be able to figure it out when it arrives there Monday morning?

UPDATE: I just heard from Thomas at DSMLINK, He agrees that the ECU is from a JDM auto Gallant vr4. He didn't say anything about the year though. Ha also thinks it will work with link. I'm picking his brain a little more and will get back....
Dave says, he has seen one like this before. He should be able to convert it USDM but it will take some changing of resistors and removing that extra board that differs this board from other eproms I have seen. They will know more when it gets to them.
UPDATE: I finally got a picture of the outside of the case. The number is MD153695.
