Did some searchin...Doesnt look like this is discussed too often so let me give it a shot...

95 talon with full suspension and its pretty low...Now when I'm driving at night its like my headlights don't do too much unless the brights are on...

Now is this because I'm lower to the ground or you think its the headlights?

Now most important question..Neone here have any really good working aftermarket headlights that are significantly brighter than the stock ones...If so let me know what kind you have and where you got them...Thanks

I've heard projectors being thrown around...A big difference?

You can aim the headlights higher...the owners manual will tell you how to aim them. As for upgrades, I upgraded from my 95 headlights to projectors and there was a big difference. People with 97-99 headlights don't seem to think so, maybe theirs are brighter.

Don't have an owners manual...Vfaq or nething have how to do it?

And did the projectors just swap right in?

The headlights are different between 95-96 and 97-99. Most projectors I've seen are made for the 97-99 front bumper, but there are several auctions on eBay for the 95-96 ones. Other than those differences, they just bolt right in.

As for adjusting them, there are adjustment wheels behind where the bulbs go. You stick a flat-head screwdriver and turn them clockwise or counterclockwise to raise/lower the beam pattern. There are bubble levelers on the top of each headlight, but if you lowered the car you will want it above the center line. I've got a full eibach suspension on my car and my leveler is above the center. Park your car about 20 ft away from a wall or garage door and raise it until it is acceptable. Make sure its not too high as you will be pissing off people coming towards you at night.

thanks alot for the help...i appreciate it...Just one more question for anyone...As for the ebay projectors...Are they cheap ones or do they actually work?

I got those 'angel eye' ebay projectors and haven't had any problems yet. They've been on my car for about a year and there is no fogging, cracking, or wiring problems. I noticed alot wider and brighter beam pattern with a solid cut-off line. If it wasn't a blizzard outside I'd go snap some pics of the beam pattern when it gets dark. Just get a set of Sylvania Silverstar h3 bulbs for it and you'll be set.

I'll second the Silverstars. I have the 9005's and 6's in my 1g and it made a good bit of difference. Now I just have to figure out how to get that yellow crap off the lenses of buy a new set off ebay.

I have the projectors on my 97 talon. The only problem I have with them is that there's about an inch gap with the front bumper and the headlights on the inside end. I ordered Eclipse/Talon headlights, but they're actually eclipse headlights... and I didn't want to change to the eclipse bumper or get a body kit so I'm dealing with it.

You got the 97-99 Eclipse headlights. Talons used the 2Ga headlights for all years, unlike teh ecripse.
