hi there again
im gonna make it short
i need to replace a brake line. but my problem is i cant access the fitting it is connected to. It's by the drive shaft driver side near the axle. also its connected to where the steering column is connected.
I tried using almost everything and end up buying some more tools but still its no use.
I dont want to remove anything in there if its possible, if not then what should i remove to gain access to that fitting or shouldi just cut it?
please help. i hope you cn understand what im talking about.
thanks in advance

Post up a pic of the location. I know on mine every one of the lines I had no issues with.

As far as tools the only thing you should need is a 10mm line wrench so you dont strip the fittings.

Cut the line off with a pair of side cutters right at each of the two fittings, remove the nuts with a socket and ratchet of necessary size. Go to your local parts store and get whatever length of line you need with the fittings already installed (should be metric fittings with an inverted flare) and bend the line to mimic the one you just snipped off. Reinstall, bleed the system, and drive.

thanks for the replies. i got the pipe off by cutting it in half. when i went to the auto shop and showed them the pipe i cut, it's not the brake line. it was the power steering return line. the guy from the shop told me since it was the return line its o to just connect the power steering line with hose and clamps.
anyway, i got the brake line out and gonna replace it with new ones. is it ok if i reroute the lines so that it would be easier to put it in?
