When I bought this car i didnt realize the xcase drain plug was loose, and there was a leak at the input shaft seal. Needless to say, it locked up and bearings toasted. I replaced the xcase with a used one, and the seals looked ok , but after driving for a few days I noticed a small leak right below the input shaft seal (the area where you usually put a screwdriver to pry it off the tranny), so I ordered a new seal. To my surprise, when I dropped the xcase the seal still looked good, just a bit of grease around it, but I replaced it anyway. I made sure it was properly seated using a socket to tap it in. Now, a few days later, I have droplets of oil accumulating right below that second from the front bottom bolt on the xcase. I can't figure it out. Could this be overfill making its way down from the breather valve? I only put 1/2 qt of gear oil in. BTW, the yoke/ output shaft seal is fine.
