I cant brake boost

Like the title says i cant brake boost on my 16g. Ive got some time to work on it so i was wondering what i could check or possible causes of this. im also having problems with terrible lag.

Boost leak check. You should be able to stall it up with little to no problems, I would have to say that its a boost leak without a doubt.

So when you say brake boost, you are reffering to putting your left foot on the brake pedal, and building up boost with your gas pedal right?

same EXACT problem stock tranny stock torque converter. 16g turbo. I floor it and hold the brake pedal it stalls out at about 2800rpm and i get 0 psi maybe 1 psi if im lucky

You must have a massive boost leak somewhere. Sort of off subject but if you punch it does it ever make a really bad 'bahhhhhhh' noise as it spools up?

I dont think it makes a bahhhhh sound it sounds like normal spool but its really quick when it hits. its just lag lag lag then turbo kicks in and i have mine set to about 20 psi
