I built up my 420a, now how much boost? spent over $12k on engine!

I am wondering how much boost can i lay down on this setup?
how reliable will it be?

you spent $12k on your engine yet you have a 2.5" exhaust rather than a 3"? where is the logic in that? not trying to be an ass by the way. just want to see your reasoning behind that

You need some sort of engine manegment to be able to control your motor with out that you won't be getting that far with it
also it is hard to think that what you did coasted you 12k.

only way i could see all that costing near that much would be if he brought it from a shop or direct from the manufacturer

See now I'm confused... If you've put 12k into a cars engine ALONE, why the hell are thinking of trading? You must be either really old making around 60K a year, or really young and rather rich.

no way did you spend 12 k on that ive got an all motor eclipse and ive done a lot of whats on that list and ive spent about 4500 if you did man you got ripped

Does your @$$ hole hurt? cuz you got fawked for $12,000, you couldnt spend half that if you bought every 420a item off howell auto motives website, unless getting raped for an install was on your list..

Amen to that. That is a hell of a lot of money to have spent! I hope you got extrude honing and Nasa engineers to work on your engine for that cost I just bought my bottom end kit 2 weeks ago from Howell for $1,099.00 and with labor and the head rebuild I expect an extra $1500.00 to be thrown down. I hope you meant that as $2,000.00 and not $12,000

I'v spent almost twelve on mt setup. turbo T3/T04E 60 trim, completely rebuilt engine, spec clutch, stage 5 axles, quaife LSD, relocated batery/got the red top stinger batery, exhaust (i too ahve a 2.5 in, becasue i bought it when i thought i wouldn't ever go turbo. I have a pretty tight setup it holds 20psi constant, and 25-28psi at the track. that engine build u have could hold quite a bit, but with out a new fuel setup your gona hit like maybe 240whp.

hi guys!! i just dropped 12K on my engine so that i could turbo the biotch....but as soon as i wrote the check i found this awesome POS eclipse with the same thing done to it!!! so im gonna trade cars with him....oh and i found this awesome POS prelude!!! im gonna trade my car to him too!!!..i cant wait...how much boost can i run to all three???!!?/ or better yet none of em!?!?!? do you think Paul Walker will drive my car?!?!? or maybe ronald mcdonald??!?! cause thatd be swell...specially if he power shifts hes l33test driver EVAR RAAAAWWWR!?!?!?!?
