I've been a member for quite some time but I rarely use the forum. Tried searching specific threads through tapatalk.

But let's get to the point.
Current setup is fp manifold, 16g PR o2 housing WG on o2 of course.

I was given a hx35 needs rebuild center cartridge is most likely toast. Not trying to budget build per say with the Holset. But I'm looking into the BEP .55ar housing and I'm seeing a lot lf mixed reviews. Some say it is to restrictive chokes the turbo etc. some say they are making good power and don't lose to much spool ability out of it. I remember seeing some flow graphs and such on a few housings and what not.

Also curious how people are having these oiled. Some say they are really picky and need to use a inline filter etc. what size lines are people running for them? Plumbing from the head or straight from OFH.

Again sorry if this in the wrong spot, I don't have many posts and I'm new to using tapatalk. Thanks for any input and advice !

The .55 housing is restrictive compared to the .70 T3 housing and factory 12cm2 twin-scroll T3 housing, but a HX35 in a DSM bolt-on housing has trapped 130mph on our platform. It serves a purpose by making a HX35 bolt to a stock manifold, but there are better setups/housings available for max-power or drag situations.

They're the least-picky aftermarket turbo available, actually...the problem is nobody makes a large-enough drain. Custom 12AN is ideal but requires a fitting to be welded to the pan.

As long as the max pressure is at or below 75psi and it can drain effectively, it will live forever.
