how to tell turbo size

i have a PTE turbo and dont know what size it is, i was told it was a 57 trim and then i was told it was a 50 trim. how can i find out what it realy is?

The only accurate way to tell would be for you to take off the exhaust housing and compressor cover and measure the wheels. Other than that, it is all speculation.

PTE turbochargers are usually scribed with a model number on the outlet of the compressor housing.

It will look something like that, usually a 4 digit number followed by a letter, at least for standard T3T4.

That narrows it down to at least 35 or 40 possibilities....all of which will have an "M" in the part number to designate the Mitsubishi turbine housing (example, SCM5031E).
