I'm having a blonde moment or something. I have all of the bolts undone from the metal timing cover but there isn't enough clearance for the bolts or the timing cover to come off. Is there something I should do?

If you are talking about the bolts that hold the mount bracket to the block than you need to jack the block up to get those out.

I jacked it up and then had to unscrew all the bolts holding the metal tubes down so I could move them out the way. It's off. omw to orielly to get a crank pulley puller

good to hear you got it off, there a pain sometimes these cars, what i did is i cut my plastic timing cover so my cam gears are showing, that way if i have to do a head gasket i don't have to pull a motor mount and pull the crank pully off. i just daily drive my car and track it, so im not to worried about anything getting in the belt bottom half still covered
