Storm Lake,
I recently remove my stock turbo spoiler and I found out there was three holes left on my car. How can I fix this problem, can I do it myself or I need to take it to the body shop for them to shave the holes out. I would rather do it myself to save money but if there isn't another way then I will settle with the body shop.
Thanks guys! :dsm: :thumb: :dsm:

my friend did that with his 96 GS, except he left the keyholes

if his handle breaks he was just going to shave them completely...

OHH CRAP!! that car is a 94.5 its the only other 2g ive seen so far with a factory blue leather interrior other than mine.. ohh that is weird, you can clearly see the blue seats i wounder if the rest is blue or if those arnt the stock seats.

Looks like grey to me... at least the ebay pics do, there's a couple pics of the interior there.

uhh...thats gray...not blue

WTF

that car has the biggest tach ive ever seen in my life.

cool handles, but it would suck if they broke... oh well, kinda cool...

LOL....id hate to be the one whos sittin in the passenger seat playin playstation when BAM!...the airbag blasts the thing at over 160mph into your eye sockets

i don't mind the door handles.

and it's got a "Hand boost Controler Most GST'S have 12psi this one has about 20psi"

thats been done quite a bit. if anyone is thinking about doing it...don't!

they crack pretty quick, even if done well. the metal door and plastic handles expand at COMPLETELY different rates. you don't really notice until you do it. (it's most commonly called semi-shaved door handles)

i did it on one of my previous honda's. i did it in a shop so everything was room temp. came out killer. as soon as the sun hit it the handle would swell ALOT. it would probably push out a good 2mm (VERY noticable) when the car cooled down in the shade or at night it went back to perfect.

that and the fact the these 2g handle LOVE to break...

it comes out great on vehicles with metal door handles tho...

heres the question I am installing solenoids for my shaved handles and need some advise on the best location for the solenoid. I know its mostly trial and error but I thought I might get some advise form those of you who have some experiance inthis sort of install.

My thoughts would be mountiong to the inside of the door on the door fram(bear claw side) so the pull would be straight down. let me know what you think.

thanks
Chris

I recently purchased a car with shaved door handles, and the solenoid pulls straight down. So that would proably be the best place for the install.

Can you tell me how you did it? I have the kit, but i can't figure out where to mount the soleniod. I was thinking about just attaching it to the rod for the interior handle. This seems to be the least involved setup since there doesn't seem to be much room insde the door. But if you could tell me how you did it, that would be great. Thanks in advance

i recommend not shaving the door handles if you plan on going to the track. at the drag strip we go to you have to have door handles to run. safety purposes i guess incase you crash

-the shaved looked does have a great look to it. makes the outside alot cleaner
