How to Replace the rear view mirror

Over the labor day weekend, some thives helped them selfs to some things in my car..

Seats and Brackets
Boost gauge and housing
REAR VIEW MIRROR

the rear view mirror had a RAZO Extended mirror ontop of it, I guess the RETARDED BUTT Cracks didnt know this and just decided to take the whole thing, the only thing left was the part that sticks to the glass and has a ball at the end.

my question is, how hard is it to replace with by hand? Can I just Yank oh off another eclipse and Force it back in?

On 1g's it's just a glue stick back on thing..Not sure how the 2g is..But if you postt up pics..I might be able to help..

On the 2g there is a small insert on the bottom side of the bracket that is on the window, simply slide a small flat headed screw driver into this slot and the bracket will slide right off. Allowing you to replace the mirror as a whole. If you need one pm me.

how small of a screw driver would I need?

I want to say 1/8" if you have a precision screw driver set one of the larger ones will work.

If all else, autozone sell them cheap. I had to pick one up and put a broadway mirror over it.

Just wanted to comment on this and post a quick picture for anyone that has yet to attempt. You do need a small flat head and basically you shove it as hard as you can till it breaks loose from the mount on the windshield. This is a level one project, but seemed like it took way more effort than it should have to keep from breaking something.
