Rear View Mirror<--stupid question but...

How do you tighten up the bracket that goes on the window the black plastic piece kinda shakes over moderate bumps and i think i need to tighten it up...i heard its an allen wrench but i don't see any allen screws...anyone know for sure what to do?

It "snaps" on. There's a little slot on the bottom, you press up in there with a dinky screwdriver to get it to let go, then it slides up toward the roof to remove. Take it off, see if you can find anything loose that'll take to being tightend. If nothing else, give it a little blorp of silicone seal, and pray that you never need to remove it again.

so that little plastic piece just pops off?...if i pop the plastic piece off it doenst diconnect the mirror form the window right? it just acts as a cover?

The mount is bonded to the glass, the whole mirror assembly comes off as one piece. No covers.

well if its all one piece how do i tighten it to the mount?
