How do I replace 420a non turbo head gasket do I have to time the motor before I take cams and everything out and do I have to re time after head is placed on block and can I move cam gears back and forth to mark up Dowell pins

Don't mean to sound rude but there is a ton of that information on that already. Would post you a link but I'm not exactly sure how at the moment. Do some searching. Yes you will have to re-time it after you pull it apart

turn crankshaft by hand with a torque wrench to tdc . And start removing what you need to get the job done properly. its a easy job depending on your skill set,. Usually 3 hours taking your time and that means having no down time and having everything ready for assembly in which if I were you id replaced the water pump too good luck and update when finished
