I am buying DSMLink finally but I am a bit confused on how to remove this SAFC. It came on the car when I bought it so im not sure how to install or uninstall it. Can anyone point me in the right direction here please. Thank you so much.

Follow the cable from the AFC down to the wiring harness for the ECU. You will have to remove the panel from the center console that is beside the gas pedal. This will give you access to the ECU and harness. Now you will have individually find and cut each connection from the AFC to the ECU harness after you cut and AFC wire loose use some electrical tape to cover any existing wires. Do not cut through any ECU wires or you will have to solder them back together.

Here is an installation guide to give you some idea of how it went in.

So cut the wires right beofre the solder point on the ECU, leaving the soldered part in there? It does not really matter becasue I am buying the EPROM anyway, but i can just cut the AFC wires and tape the ends and send it to the guy like that becasue he too needs to solder those wirres to his ECU so it does not matter correct?
